My name is Yogesh, a manager with a private firm in Singapore. I would like to take this opportunity to write about my personal fitness trainer and now friend, Sam.

I know Sam from last September ’06, when I searched the internet and got to browse his advertisement. I met him a few days later and I found him very professional in his conduct. He was heavy on course of action needed to get me into shape and fit, rather than promising big things on weight or dimensions or both. He set the targets way upfront and took pain to explain what means what. His charges seem reasonable and he is very upfront about it. He was flexible about the mode of payment.

In the 40-or-so sessions that followed (and I still continue to do workouts under his guidance) I found him to be always on time, available with good mix of exercises to stretch the body, build muscles and also advise about the nutrition that should reduce carbs and slow weight gain.

He takes the responsibility to explain some principles behind what we do – for example, which muscles get exercised by what posture while doing weights. He explained to me what kind of exercises I can easily do while I travel, so that we don’t break a habit.

He is a real master at estimating what the client can / cannot take and then surprising them with results which they thought never possible. As an example, we started the push-ups on the wall and I never thought I can push myself to do floor pushes and so on.

I found him very trustworthy and ambitious. He keeps enough time between two sessions to ensure the body has sufficient time to recover and rest. He also seems to have wide variety of clients and he sometimes uses some of the stories of their endurance to enthuse folks like me. Like his clients that do extreme marathon etc.

The Fitness 360 Gym where he likes his clients to go provides an excellent range of all kinds of equipment, weights and even aerobics. It is truly complete gym, and is conveniently located. Its just that it doesn’t start until 7 am. Nothing we can do about it!

All in all, a great guy to get your lessons from, and keep fit! I’d recommend him any time and all the time!
