Founder - Coach


 

Hello and welcome! My name is Sam, and I am the founder and head coach at Funky Fitness. For the past 17 years, I have been dedicated to bringing a holistic approach to the fitness industry outside of yoga studios.

I believe that everyone has the potential to change their lifestyle and better themselves with time and the right guidance. With over two decades of experience in the industry and a proven track record of delivering amazing results in body transformations, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life, from athletes to young adults.

My expertise lies in body transformations, athletic performance, nutrition, post-physio rehabilitation, and pre- and post-natal fitness. I specialize in creating customized fitness plans that cater to each individual client's unique needs, goals, and fitness level. My ultimate goal is to help my clients achieve the results they desire and improve their overall well-being.

I am passionate about educating my clients on the importance of a holistic approach to fitness, which includes not only physical exercise but also mental and emotional health. I strive to create a supportive and empowering environment that helps my clients stay motivated and committed to their fitness journey.

Ritcha
 

Meet Ritcha - an Australian who currently resides in Singapore. While formally educated as an Optometrist, her true passion lies in yoga. As a passionate and enthusiastic yoga teacher, Ritcha loves helping students discover their inner being through yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation.

Her dedication to inspiring others to improve their overall physical and mental wellness is unwavering. Ritcha truly enjoys inspiring others through physical exercise, nutrition, and stress management techniques, and is always looking to expand her knowledge base. In her free time, she enjoys reading yoga and Ayurveda textbooks, mindfulness books, and fertility research papers.

Ritcha's own journey of infertility has been a driving force behind her yoga practice and the creation of Devi Yoga. She aims to support people in their struggles in life, showing them how to face their challenges with love and positivity.

Her classes offer a safe and welcoming space for students to explore their own inner journey and find strength and resilience within themselves.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Ritcha's classes are tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.

She believes that yoga is for everyone and strives to make her classes accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Azri

Meet Azri -Singapore born Azri is a highly experienced and successful personal trainer with over 13 years of experience in the fitness industry. Throughout his career, he  has worked with clients from all walks  of life, helping them achieve their   fitness goals and transform their   bodies.

In 2017, Azri competed in his first physique bodybuilding competition, where he placed in the top 5. This experience not only demonstrated his commitment to fitness and personal growth but also gave him invaluable insight into the discipline and dedication required to achieve peak physical performance.

Azri is certified in a variety of fitness disciplines, including PTA Global, TRX, VIPR, Kettlebells, and Sandells. He specializes in weight loss, body transformation, strength and conditioning, sports-specific conditioning, and general fitness, providing his clients with a comprehensive and holistic approach to achieving their goals.

Azri is known for his patience, jolly nature, and extensive experience, making him the right person to help you achieve your fitness goals. He believes that everyone is capable of achieving their ideal physique and works tirelessly to ensure that his clients reach their full potential.
